unsure if it is repeatable, but weird that it happened
Deathslinger public match with mad grit
hook survivor, down other survivor that ran up to hook.
pick up survivor and use the "no attack cooldown" to hit the air while waiting for them to struggle off.
at one point accidentally hit hooked survivor.
can't attack anymore.
wait for survivor to struggle off.....
they can't......
after a while i press the drop player/item key.
as soon as i do so they struggle off.
endgame chat the survivor confirmed that they were fully struggled but it seemed like i had something stopping them.
so effectively. i had managed to take a player hostage on my shoulder without them being able to break out, but i am also not able to attack
