Tome 3 One more time

Trying to do One more time quest from Tome 3. Repeatedly while in a match, i get the notification that the quest is completed ( by doing 8 consecutive skill checks), but once the match is over, the quest shows as not completed. I've tried to do that quest at least a dozen times with the same result. It happens every time, I cannot complete it. Please fix or help.
