Would this kind of perk work in DbD? (Balance feedback)

Bounty Hunter

After hooking 4 unique Survivors in the trial at least once, Bounty Hunter activates for the next 60/70/80 seconds.

The next time you down a Survivor with your basic attack, you are able to kill them by your own hand.

Bounty Hunter deactivates when succesfully killing someone or when the timer expiries for the rest of the trial.

Opinions?

Sounds horrible, mechanics that let you just kill someone as easy as this should not be in this game... It would be super annoying to go against and basically just hard tunnel the last guy off of hook, or his savior and then play a 3v1... Sure if you just tunnel one guy from the start you can get a similar result, but is this a good reason to implement something that is just as bad?

Uhh...I have wanted to see the perk that is able to mori someone other than Rancor, but this seems somewhat too much.

Probably should reduce the timer for testing (we'd say 60). This is more of a personal thing but maybe change the name as if we see a perk called bounty hunter we'd immediately assume it affects the obsession (and we'd probably go after just the obsession with it cause we are children)

Eh, I could see some issues, but still a kinda cool idea to throw around. Balancing wise though.

Ehhhh. May be strong. But then again..it should be

Eh... its kinda the same issue with tunneling where someone dies too early. Sure you are doing it via multiple hooks so it takes much longer but in the end somebody is removed from the game by 4 hooks.

i don't think such a perk can be balanced properly. it will either be very oppressive or a waste of time like current mori offerings.

Shorten the timer to 60 seconds and let survivors be notified when it's active and it's probably fine.

I'd say the above and its good.

Doesn't seem that crazy compared to something like devour hope, would encourage survivors to stay healthy if the killer is spreading hooks (which works against the meta and also gives killers some slowdown), and works against tunneling. I imagine like many things if we went killer by killer we'd find one where its problematic, but that's the issue with killer perks.

Alternatively you could make it activate indefinitely when all survivors are on death hook instead. A huge reward for spreading hooks and one heck of a scary endgame if paired with the right stuff.

Legit just make it a rancor that's able to be used mid game and have it be the obsession only. Each hook reveals the killer's aura to the obsession for 10 seconds. Requires them to be REALLY careful.

I mean i really believe perks that encourage going after everyone and spreading the love like Grim Embrace should be really powerful as its healthy for the game overall. But this is going a bit to far. Maybe make it like Rancor and lets you kill the obsession within like 30-40 seconds.

Only if it notifies the survivors when it's active IMO, same way rancor does
