Feedback - Steam Achievement: 'Taking one for the team'

I know there has been and continue to be varied opinions on several of the achievements currently in the game however, in particular, I wanted to discuss the achievement titled 'Taking one for the team' where you are asked to protect a recently unhooked survivor by taking a hit near them 250 times..

To me it seems extremely excessive for what is being asked of you but also encourages people to play a bold and selfish playstyle wherein you almost have to abandon gens or whatever else to follow a chase and ensure that you get to the hook in time, pray that the killer stays nearby the hook, pray that the survivor stays nearby, and that you do it quick enough to get the protection hit needed. There are a lot of variables and it's a shame that this, and a few other survivor achievements, are reliant on the killer and their playstyles. Often times whilst trying to get this achievement (of which in the grind so far I'm only 82/100), I get the unhook while the killer is close and they instantly attempt to tunnel the survivor I've just unhooked. I've tried all variants of builds including borrowed time which I've seen many others recommend alongside common perks like empathy or dead hard to no real avail.

I understand that some achievements are meant to be difficult however at least make them somewhat fun for either the person attempting to complete them or the other survivors which have to also endure this painful suffering.

Yes, I'm sure you'll gradually complete this achievement over hundreds of games eventually without directly going for it but that's not really the point. I see achievements as a way to work toward something, learning a different (and hopefully interesting) way of approaching the game, and a way to have fun. Unfortunately this achievement is a slug, isn't in the slightest bit informative or helpful to those playing the game and is arguably one of the most tedious achievements present.

Unsure if this is different for console achievements as I'm only playing PC and unsure of whether BHVR even read this to be honest but just needed to rant somewhere about this.
