Can't move character with controller when changing controllers

On Xbox (series X specifically if it matters), if you're using a wired controller, and you need to swap controller for some reason, everything looks fine in the menus with the new controller (can move cursor around, activate menu items etc) without issue but if you load into a match, you're unable to move your character.

You can open the menus and interact with them without issue.

Your only option to fix it is DC (via the menu!) and restart DBD. Does not happen with any other game.

    Hello - Im on PC and using a PS4 controller and it is not working anymore. Tried re-opening game, un-installing etc. I run steam, every other game works with controller except this one. It happened all of a sudden as well like 12/17?? Any ideas??
