Chases not starting on the nostromo wreckage map

I have been unable to consistently recreate this issue, ive so far only encountered the bug while playing wraith and trapper while using the builds below. Chases would only start after ive hit a survivor but would then end within 5 seconds even if i was right behind them. Ive tried to recreate it in custom lobbies with bots but have been unsuccessful so far.
