Bone Chill: Obsessive Challenge Rolls Over if Using Obsession Changing Perks

I was using the perk Friends to the End in an obsession changing build in order to complete the Obsessive Challenge where you have to sacrifice your obsession 2 times.
During the match I did sacrifice an obsession 2 times, completing the challenge. However, I then sacrificed my third obsession and the challenge 'rolled over' and said I only sacrificed 1 obsession.
I don't have video proof but I have talked to others and they have reported similar issues.
