Gremlins!

You all know the movie: cute furball gets wet and spawns monsters. Gremlins also refer to mechanical anomalies. I think I see a way to make this work. Killer is the furball which can injure survivors, but can’t put them into dying state or carry/hook them. It runs around the map singing it’s little cooing song which wreaks havoc on survivors’ skill checks. Once a generator blows, the killer teleports to it and crawls out of the machine as a devious, murderous gremlin. Now the hunt is on, but the gremlin reverts back to a furball after a certain amount of time or some other condition is met.

In order to prevent survivors from simply not attempting generators, furball needs to be able to build up its power some other way as well (crawling into barrels of water perhaps?).

Anyway, it’s a rough draft, but I think there’s potential!
