I recommend that shattered hope be base kit without the aura reading ability

The title. My opinion is that killers should destroy boons when they’re snuffed out. Just remove the aura reading ability & it should be good. What do you think/feel about being able to destroy boons without a perk??

    Honestly Shattered Hope is in such a weird spot.

    It did not solve the Boon Totem issue back when it came out due to the amount of investment needed to actually stop a Boon Totem from being lit via breaking all the totems combined with the perk economy at the time.

    Nowadays it's own use is useless since nobody brings Boon Totems outside of maybe B: Circle of Healing but even still I rarely see it. It's a perk that is just simply a relic of its time and even then it was still incredibly flawed and was kind of left to collect dust.

    To put it bluntly, I do not think all Boon Totems should have the Shattered Hope effect, but maybe individual Boon Totems can be given their own effects, like if X Boon is too strong, it will break the Dull Totem when it becomes snuffed out, kind of like Hex: Ruin's cleansing condition if a Survivor dies, but Y Boon that is too weak wont have that effect.
