Remove Crossplay for PC players

Crossplay with PC is horrible for this game and BHVRs obsession with "statistics".

PC players cause an imbalance in balance. The Killer side of dbd is different than console. Yet the developers name changes to PC related advantage, leaving console players to suffer.

Console nurse, slinger, Trickster, artist, blight, nemesis, alien, chucky, oni, Hilbilly is not as strong as PC

Also, PC has the advantages of subtle cheating.

I agree with this completely. Though PC players disagree but they also like their wins. The PC base I feel is shrinking in especially on Steam, but there is other platforms. Console is their biggest platform and they should allow consoles to play with consoles it would even out. I can definitely tell when I play with or against a PC player. Though I have noticed the Switch does move similar to a PC, but we load in much slower than everyone else and it isn't a wifi issue either. When I play on my switch it's a good 5 seconds behind everyone else, but my Xbox it's usually right on.

I also feel they should not restrict their servers to locations either, no other companies really do that and all it does would put other gamers in a different world. There is major difference in how other countries play actually at team games and that would really make the devs make quick changes.

You can just turn off crossplay if you want, it's in the settings. Also some of the best killers I've ever faced were on console (including some of the killers you mentioned) so I don't really think it's a point that holds up well to scrutiny

i usually play nemesis (my main), blight, alien, chucky, hillbilly, nurse and trickster from your list of killers, i think they´re fine, you just need to get the fuel, get the hang of it you know? but we can´t expect too much because it´s a controller limitation, in M&K you can like, change your dpi, you can download every type of random visual and psychal things to make playing easier like filters, crosshair, the macro or something like that for like, insta tp as hag (idk how it works) you know?

I see your point about the imbalance. But I like fast matches. If a few killers are better on PC I'm not willing to wait 30 minutes for a match. When the game was new 45 minutes for a match sucked. When Chucky came out he used to have a 180 flick on PC and they stopped that amd made him 90 on both PC and console. I like that balance. Also I'm a console Oni main and I may not have the PC 180 but if you get in my lobby you are in for a nasty suprise if you think my Oni isn't scary on console.

You never compete as killer against another killer so it’s kinda irrelevant that they play differently on platforms. Your MMR should still match you against fitting survivors no matter your platform. (That is of course if MMR actually did try to match according to skill instead of just being there and knowing it just made bad matchmaking but it was done quickly)

also subtle cheating is not an advantage for the PC players - the vast majority of pc players do not cheat and it’s really unreasonable to accuse all of the pc players. Especially considering that cheaters can very likely circumvent any crossplay barriers..

I have had several survivors who were shocked when we messaged after the game when they realized I was on. Oni is only slightly better on PC in small niche moments. Using Oni takes more skill on console but in the end my Oni is just as A tier as a PC user. The difference is only slight.

You can turn cross play off if you don't wish any PC players.
