Legion Rework Ideas

Purpose and Reason

The main problem with Legion is that they aren't enjoyable to go against. In a match with them. All five players are at the same skill level. If Legion wants you downed, it will happen. Survivor and killer skill doesn't matter. The chase is very unenjoyable and uninteractive for both sides. With Huntress, you can throw hatchets, juke the hatchets. Nurse has more counterplay than this killer and that's crazy.

Strikethough changes are what I consider heavily controverisal changes and don't really apply to the main changes. If you want to mix and match controverisal and main, comment away! Different suggestions? Go ahead! That's a huge wall of text!

Base Kit Changes

115% movement speed: Reason I put this in controverial is because it probably will never happen since when devs set a movement speed for killer they are hellbent on keeping it that speed. They did a good job on balancing Hag and Spirit, but with Legion's changes, nothing good will come out of it with the changes that they had proposed. (Frank's Tape base for injured? Are you serious?)

Vaulting
Legion now has a vaulting system like survivors. They need an angle to fast vault and if they don't have the angle, they do a slightly slower vault.
Pallet Vaults are not affected by this.

Deep Wound
Deep Wound status now doesn't drain within the terror radius or chase. This should make the "moonwalk" strat to become less effective.
Slightly increase the speed of Deep Wound timer when not in chase.
Adrenaline now heals to full health against Deep Wound.

Frenzy
The main issue at the moment is that Frenzy cooldown is very forgiving; like, ridiculously forgiving.
Misses now drains some of the bar.
Cooldown for missed attacks is now 30% faster (Built in Urelenting 3, can stack with perks that can affect missed attacks) instead of Machine Gun times 1000 it is at the moment.
This should allow more counterplay for survivors.

Killer Instinct
Range is now 32 meters by default.
Blood is more discernable.(Bloodhound without the longer bloodstain duration)
Perks that affect the Terror Radius will now affect Killer Instinct.
This means the perks like Monitor and Abuse can increase the Killer Instinct Range by 40 meters.

**Add-ons**

Franks Mixtape
Instead of taking half a chunk of the Deep Wound bar, it takes 1/4th of the bar and slowly drains another 1/4th during the chase.

**Proposed New Feature**

Legion looks fairly close to the size of an average survivor. They should use this to their adventage.
Legion can now pretend to work on a generator.
Terror Radius is suppressed.
The generator will make the sounds of being repaired by someone, but it will neither progress nor regress it.
Survivors within 8 meters of the generator will have their aura revealed.
This can also work with hiding in lockers, but the Legion's breathing is a lot heavier.

Mainproblem is, that the devs don't play the game and don't have a fundamental meaning of "how the players play the game" so this time it's legion next time it's another new killer. I slowly stop to play this game. One big issue is this killer. I hate him as killer and survivor, cause it does not feel good to play with or against him.

That is also one of the issues. Most of the devs don't know how to play at all. Only like two of them play the game and are actually good.

I also have to say that we are extremely limited to PTB changes. We only get to play one iteration and they make changes; we don't get to test these changes. We even have to level up the characters to test the perks and that's just ridiculous. They were on good track when they shipped mulitple updates to the PTB on the Clown. If they let us test different changes that would be fantastic. I'd rather have a longer PTB to let us test the stuff rather than ship an unfinished product.

I don't want to sound mean to the devs, but their continued ignorance over their own game is why this game is never going to be anything more than a casual game distraction.

Some of the ######### they leave in this game is baffling. Can you imagine if a competitive fighting game left infinite combos in their game because, "well, it's kind of hard to pull off", not realizing that a couple hours of practice could allow someone to master it, then wondering why that is the only thing used in tournaments?

It's kind of the opposite with DBD, though. They put in massively worthless perks, powers, and addons, and then feel it's balanced because one of their rank 20 co-workers made it work against them, even though they are only rank 18.

They're testing the Frank's Mixtape on injured in the PTB. O-O They didn't even put it in the notes.
