There's No Gameplay Left in This Game.
The map design ruins absolutely everything. I've never seen a game with so little variance in it's repetitive gameplay loop. There's no looping anymore, everything is so close together and safe that pre-throwing to guarantee the safety in chase is ALWAYS the best choice. I don't understand how map reworks aren't the #1 priority right now, and how we only see 1 rework every other patch, if that.
It defeats all of the enjoyment on both sides when the game just becomes "I don't want to actually interact with my opponent" and having that "strategy" be the most effective.
There's a reason why everyone is flocking to the mobility and "loop cheating" killers these days... because not playing those characters turns DBD into a chore, not a game.

Someone has seen the last Choy video...

Well, you're certainly not wrong. Much of what's wrong with the game is heavily dictated by map design. It's the core of the game that decides how players interact with one another.

Ever played the knight's map? If you don't loop perfectly then your getting hit.
I still say it's perks, not maps. This year killers are getting reworked which means new content. But for survivor there is little to nothing I'm regards to new content besides going against said killers.
