Get rid of rift and tome FOMO.

its extremely off putting as a returning player that coming onto the game and seeing that you cant access the passes you have bought after they expire is pretty awful, in an ideal world, each rift should be able to purchase, and once you buy it, it doesn't leave, halo infinite have done a really good job setting an example on how these types of things should be handled.

Upon coming onto the game, when there's no current rift, I feel like there's no point playing, due to FOMO and my interest in the game goes downhill fast(ill only play a few games) it would be nice if we could do the old passes whilst we are waiting for the new rift.

But you CAN buy those Rift cosmetics in the Shop usually a year after, except charms and a few others.

What I think is absolute trash is that the people who complain about FOMO wont allow bHVR to give us a heads up regarding Rifts running out, I have asked bHVR to give us a warning so I can get what I want with money if I didnt have time to clear the Rift this time. But nooo... fomofomofomo.

Please start giving heads up regarding the end of the Rift again bHVR, maybe 20, 10, 5 and few days before the Rift ends.

and just ignore the fomo detractors, if you are gonna have a Battlepass you must support it with heads up too.

The skins that get put into the rift come back to store after a minimum period of 6 months. The charms and deep rift variants don't come back though unfortunately.

Tomes can be done at any time so there's no FOMO there.

I personally think we should be thankful that this game doesn't exploit FOMO as much as it could.

The two other games i play, Overwatch 2 and Fortnite. They put FOMO to the max. Battle pass and event skins don't return and there is daily shop rotations and other things too.

I can't blame the industry for doing it because it keeps players engaged and that keeps games alive.

This game has one of the easiest battlepasses of any game. Simply completing around 50% of the challenges is usually enough to get to level 70, at which point you can roll over your 1000 AC to activate premium and get an instant 1000 AC refund.

I often take breaks for weeks or a month at a time, and still manage to complete every rift. They usually last long enough that they encompass an event tome as well, so even if you just come on for the events, you'll probably make a lot of progress.
