Suggestion: Map Offering
Hi,
"I would like to point out how unfair it is when Survivors offer a map offering compared to the Killer. Survivors can influence the map choice in a probability of 4 out of 5 rounds, while the Killer can only do it once. In this process, Survivors lose 5 offerings, and the Killer loses 5 as well. However, Survivors can coordinate to decide which map they want, significantly reducing their costs. This results in the Killer being more likely to end up on a map that is favorable to the Survivors. Therefore, here is my proposed change.
1. Scenario: 4 Survivors, 1 Killer
- Survivors: 50%
- Killer: 50%
2. Scenario: 3 Survivors, 1 Killer
- Survivors: 37.5%
- Killer: 62.5%
3. Scenario: 2 Survivors, 1 Killer
- Survivors: 25%
- Killer: 75%
4. Scenario: 1 Survivor, 1 Killer
- Survivors: 12.5%
- Killer: 87.5%
5. Scenario: 4 Survivors, 0 Killer
- Survivors: 100%
6. Scenario: 3 Survivors, 0 Killer
- Survivors: 75%
- Random: 25%
7. Scenario: 2 Survivors, 0 Killer
- Survivors: 50%
- Random: 50%
8. Scenario: 1 Survivor, 0 Killer
- Survivors: 25%
- Random: 75%
9. Scenario: 0 Survivors, 1 Killer
- Killer: 100%
10. Scenario: 0 Survivors, 0 Killer
- Random: 100%
How would you assess or distribute your opinions on this matter?
Got it! If the question arises, I play both Killer and Survivor, but my preference is 34% Killer and 66% Survivor.
I just noticed that when we play as Survivors in a group of 4, we often end up playing on maps we want more frequently than the Killer does when offerings are thrown. This puts us at an advantage because we receive more offerings initially, allowing us a wider selection. When I play as a Killer, it's frustrating when I think, 'Wow, offerings are being thrown every round, and my map isn't getting through.' I end up losing my offerings, and their costs in the group are lower, making it more challenging in four Bloodwebs to get something good again
