Sadako Suggested changes[My version of Onryo]
1) Chase:
-Manifesting charge time movement speed modifer increased from 0.80(80%) to 1(100%) // This increases her movement speed when decloaking from 92% to 115%.
-Passive Invisibility during Demanifiest now grants a 30% haste bonus when invisible. // Default invisibility lasts 1.2 seconds as of PTB.
-Demanifesting Flicker duration increased from 0.75 second to 1 second.
-Lingering Flicker Duration state reduced from 4 second to 3 seconds.
-Onryo lunge speed lunge modifier increased by 60%. // Lunge movement speed during Flicker duration will be 275%
2) Condemn:
New Ability: Spectral strike: After Demanifesting, Survivors hit by Onryo are inflicted by 1.5 condemn stacks during Lingering Flicker Invisibility duration(Lasts 3 second by default).
3) TV:
-Teleporting to a television no longer increases survivors condemn stacks.
-TV teleportation now activates Demanifestation Flicker Duration. // Lasts 3 seconds by default
4) Tapes:
-Survivors picking up a tape when fully condemned remove 1 condemn stack.
-Inserting a tape into the television no longer reduces condemn stacks by 3.
-Survivors despositing a tape into a television now gain 3 condemn shield stacks hightlighted in blue.
-Hitting the survivor with Spectral Strike will break the condemn tape.
Add-on change:
Iridescent videotape:
-Projected Television now inflict 1 stack of condemn within 16 meters of a survivor.
-Survivors Condemn stacks gained by Spectral Strike reduced by 66%[Reduces condemn stack build-up from 1.5 ->0.5]
Ring Drawing:
Tapes broken by Spectral Strike Increase condemn build up by 0.5.
Videotape Copy:
TV's turned off by the survivor are turned off for 15 seconds less.
Mother's Mirror:
-Increases the duration of your intermittent Invisibility after Manifesting by +3 seconds.
Old Newspaper:
-Increases the duration of your full Invisibility after Manifesting by +15%.
Cabin Sign:
-After Manifesting, reduces the visibility window duration by 0.1 seconds(Duration reduced from 0.5 ->0.4 seconds) // This improves flicker invisibility
Well Stone:
-Reduces the time it takes for TVs to turn back on after Projection by 11 seconds. //Was 7 seconds

While these are all unique suggestions, I don’t think people are wanting a new Sadako. People didn’t want the 2.0. I certainly don’t.
They want the original Sadako they were given. They just wanted her condemn to be stronger, so it wouldn’t be ignored by survivors.
You can’t ignore plagues infection, you can’t ignore the box, technically yes, you can ignore all those things but they’re consequences.
Sadako 1.0, you could ignore her condemn entirely, ignore TVs, didn’t even need to pick up a tape, there was barely a threat. Not to mention the 100 second tv cooldowns 🤣
That’s the whole reason the developers made the change on her in the first place was to make her power more threatening.
We want OG Sadako just more condemn threat.

I can only agree with @MechWarrior3 that I don‘t want a new version of her. I always wanted her OG version with buffs back. I also think these change make it a bit too complicated, especially with all the versions we had.

I will be patient and see what next chapter of changes are for her. What I wanted is a killer can that gains mori's but does so in a way where the mori is fair but effective. In the words, if killer plays their power correctly, they can skip all 3 hook-states but if they misplay, then the mori is not effective. Current sadako is not based off the killer being competent at using the ability. It is based off survivor being incompetent. the changes with 3.0 sadako have returned old problems where the killer is mainly effective in small congested indoor maps where running into televisions is easy while she suffers on big maps where people can spread out and turn off televisions+rush gens. My wish is that sadako was more based around hit & run and choosing correct chases and TV were more about ambushing and map mobility.
I like that killer has unique condemn threat ability but between V2 sadako and V3 sadako, it is clear that V2 was too difficult for survivor to play around such that V3 goal was to dumb down the killer. they need find a middle ground version where condemn kills are practical for killer to achieve(1 condemn kill per game that skips 3 hooks) while not being too overly oppressive for the casual survivor player to play against. My suggestion in this thread are to make a better chase killer but to lower prominence of condemn killing while still giving relative condemn threat-level.

I agree, in one 1.0 version it definitely requires skill to be able to get any sort of condemn, you had to know where you were teleporting you had to be precise with it, and you had to be consistent.
The closest version of that would be the version from PTB before nerfs, even then, that version was still a little on the weak side. They were further quality of life changes they could make.
The expression of skill was in 1.0, we lost that skill in 2.0 and 3.0 after the developers made changes. Furthermore, she is not unable, but she is extremely untuned and water down.
I have faith in these developers. I know some have their worries and hesitations, and I understand that they’ve been in this journey longer than I have, but I have to have faith.
I lost my faith with EA Dice 🤣🤣 But I want to try and keep it here with behavior, and give them the benefit of the doubt ❤️

I hate EA for shutting down Star Wars battlefront 2. It was the best game I‘ve ever played.

100%! That’s what brought me over to this game. I have over 5000 hours in that game. Played it since launch. I mained Palpatine and Yoda both maxes prior and after changes.
EA did that game so dirty, despite its success!

I‘ve got the Platin trophie and I‘ve got to the point, where I played always the worst hero’s in Hero showdown and I even won with the little droid almost always.
They should make a battle pass and continue the game or make a third one.
