Please change Parallel Jungle Gyms

The current trend at BHVR seems to be to go from one extreme to the other. We've gone from too many strong gyms to having loads of really pointless ones (for survivors).

I'm talking about the ones that are three-five sets of walls that run vertically and all parallel to each other. There's often one vault in all of them and often no pallets to use. They're really annoying as they offer no use to survivors at all and allow killers to maintain a build of blood lust. The window vault is neither use nor ornament as you can't get a running vault to them most of the time and even if you do perks like lithe send you straight into the next wall as you're trying to gain distance from the killer who has likely tried to hit you as youve vaulted.

I understand the need for more balanced loops, but these aren't it and theyre appearing more and more in maps.

I agree that they took it to far. Every new gym they introduce is weaker then the previous one.

What JG do you mean? The four lane wall gyms?

If that is the case, the best way to play it is to drop the pallet and run around it at the outside. You should make 2 laps if the killer is not already bloodlusted. Aside from that, connect it with another tile. That is often not the case, but keep an eye on it. Here is a good example:

We should revert all layouts back to that one patch that had the original map adjustments (before the big reworks) and then never change them again.

Honestly I don’t even know what the new tiles are anymore

Its just a guessing game for me lol

Those gyms are fine, not all gyms need to be super safe.

those are called "4 lanes" and the better version is actually playable and not weak at all, the worse one's window is also playable but yes its pallet is useless. (i'm referring to the top image in xEa's reply as the better one, the bottom is the worse version).

idk how "newly released" 4 lanes are but i really hate new weird tiles introduced with the most recent maps. nostromo feels like it only has strengthened 4 lanes, long wall with the pallet on the wrong side and short wall but with a really short wall and that's it. the rest are some pallets and windows sprinkled around that are supposed to form jungle gyms.

this doesn't prove anything. the killer is playing like a rank 20. When you have right side of the loop open, the killer is suppose to rotate counter-clockwise. He is rotating loop in clock-wise direction.

When you reach at far green spot, you can react to the survivor vault preventing any fast vaults. Billy in particular is amazing in 4 four walls loops because he can get curve hits. For example, if you stand where Ace is standing, you can easily zone break pallet or sometimes even curve the survivor into a hit if they poor movement play. If you take red line, then survivor can just fast vault window 3 times for free.

the m1 killer play is to break the pallet in this specific way because loop that get played for survivor is the following loop:

the weaker version is usually free hit for the killer. the more dangerous loop that survivor can do in other version is this loop:

you can get a hit on this loop as killer, but you will need to force bloodlust 2 at minimum to get the hit. Doing anything else for survivor is almost always free hit for killer and most survivor do try to take window making the loop all that much easier.
