Got stuck in Badham basement as me and the survivor both tried interacting with a pallet

From what I experienced this specifically happened at the pallet beneath the stairs of Badham preschool. The pallet was already dropped in an earlier chase and when i went to break it later while chasing another survivor Steve in this case who had chemical trap. I think at that moment I tried to break while Steve tried to chemical trap and proceeded to fly into the ceiling canceling my break action.
