Question regarding "regression limit" on the PTB

Hello, I have a short question. Once all 8 regression event happened on a generator, would you still be able to perform a regular damage action on it? I'm asking this because it seems that perks like Machine Learning, Nowhere To Hide, Trail of Torment and similar will be indirectly nerfed if assumption on how it works is correct.

No, it would be totally impossible to kick gens by any means when you reach 8th limitation as I know.
