All these deadzones intentional?

I've noticed these big dead-zones spawning on most maps. From Cowshed, to Thompson, to some McMillan maps where you can have a whole side with just rocks and trees without a pallet spawning there.
Also this part of main where that weird long rock got removed and replaced with (loops?) seems to be just a completely empty zone with 2 picnic tables. Are these intentional? Maps feel so dry. It's running from a T&L on one side, passing 20 rocks, picnic tables and trees to another T&L...

The one map where this always feels apparent is wretched shop
I swear every time like 40% of the map is just a giant deadzone

Apparently they are intentional. Yes, not the best direction they go for.

Fillers also randomly got removed. Played on Pale Rose today, where they removed all those fillers mid map. Added trees and 1 pallet in the center. Also the pallet in front of shack disappeared. And yes, Autohaven maps also have just piles of junk but no pallets. If you're unlucky you can end up with T&L + Pallet gyms. Once you used those 4 pallets you're cooked.

Yup. Survivors are certainly feeling the love of these updates!

On the other hand, as killer, you can also have survivors run from safe pallet to safe pallet in an endless chain. It feels horrible either way, and there isn't much that can be done about it.

Some maps like The Game, Eyrie of crows but even simple maps like Coal Tower can definitely be in the survivors favour when it comes to pallet spawns. But on the other hand you have maps like Ormond which is completely empty. Why don't they set the same number of pallets for each map? We don't need 20 god pallets on the Game, but 4 pallets on Ormond is also a bit weird
