The Shape instakill is not balanced gameplay

Being able to instantly eliminate any player regardless of hooks does not seem like it fits in this game.

I've heard "it takes forever so it's balanced"

but literally every pub game i've played against Mike there is at least one survivor who doesn't know how evil within works and lets him get all the way to tier 3 before we barely have 2 gens done, no problem.

The last game i played, I don't know how he managed it. I went to unhook my teammate and found him facecamping until the timer went off. As soon as they unhooked, he immediately had tier 3 and murdered them.

If that's not toxic gameplay abuse i don't know what is. This add-on should be removed completely.

I think Iri is fine, because that actually takes a long time to get, just one survivor is nowhere near enough. If you have double Iri, I think you need to find all 4 survivors.

Tombstone piece is kinda broken tho.

JMT Iri also slows you to 4.24 m/s movement, basically slightly faster than T1 Myers... and you can't even lunge at people vaulting windows etc if you want the kill. This is why you almost always run PWYF to get back to 4.84 m/s.

To get to EW3 with both Iris, they both increase stalk from EW2 to EW3 to 300% (or 10 additional stalk each on top of the base 5). This comes out at 25 stalk, and an additional 5 stalk for EW1 to EW2. Overall this is just shy of 3 fully stalked survivors if I'm correct (was a while since I did it, but I'm pretty sure that's right).

Tombstone Piece is utter BS though yes, this should be completely reworked.

I think the issue is it feels unfair because Myers can feed off one survivor and then mori another.

As well as that it completely negates the anti facecamping mechanic if he can mori straight off a self unhook.

TBH I think his whole kit needs a rework.

Michael Myers is probably one of the last remaining vestiges of old DBD where his power level ranges from a slow old man relying on jump scares on indoor maps to being able to take someone out of the game at any moment without any prior warning or notification. Tombstone piece is probably one of the few moments that can still make the Survivors have an “Oh #########” revelation in this age of dbd where lots of things are pretty predictable.

That's pub games for you, quite a number of players don't know how to handle certain killers powers. I had a match a couple of days ago against Cenobite, and literally no one would bother to get the box. You had to get it yourself but if you were in chase, then you were done for chief once the chains starting spawning. Sadako was another, many not managing their tapes and being mori'd, though this was before the recent update. Still, Myers doesn't really have anything else except potential insta-kill and the stealth, that's it, otherwise good survivors can literally make his life hell. A rework would be nice though.

I think Tombstone Peice should only allow the mori of a survivor who has been fully stalked, and Judith's Tombstone should only work on survivors who have been previously hooked.

TSP is problematic because you can access it quickly and eliminate a survivor early, but this would ensure you could only eliminate the survivor who has fed you the most stalk, giving survivors a counter mechanic. While JT is a long game mechanic, and you should be making several hooks before you get to use it.

This would still give this mechanic a viable use for a killer playing 'fair', and wouldn't be so 'unfair' for survivors.
