What was the point of Blight add-ons "nerf"

He's just as strong as before and they buffed adrenaline vial for some reason(baffling) .
This is like acting like you actually want to balance a broken killer but just act like it so people will stop talking about it because you nerfed some add-ons that won't make a difference on a good Blight.
