Trickster feels clunky
I played trickster a bit before his rework ptb to see how he improved after it. During that time I felt he was a bit clunky but overall still salvageable. during the actual ptb I really enjoyed playing trickster, was he a bit strong looking back? Maybe. But he was much more fun. After the ptb though? It's a different story. This isn't meant to be an insult but it's genuinely how I feel. He's so much clunkier, after you throw your knives you have to wait what feels like an entire 5 seconds before you can use your main event leading to these weird gaps where you are just waiting to use your power again. Not to mention after you throw your knives in main event you have something similar where you have a cooldown before you can use regular ammo again. This would have made sense on the ptb trickster, but the trickster we have now does not warrant it. If survivors needed a break from having knives thrown at them.... well I thought that was the point of him having ammo to begin with. You get a main event every two or so chases meaning the main event is more common than before: which is nice, but as previously mentioned it feels super clunky to use and leaves too much room for survivors to avoid it most of the time simply because of how long it takes to activate it if you are already throwing at/chasing a survivor.... which is the only situation where you get main event. This would be acceptable if you could save main event for a situation later where you thought you could get a survivor, but there's a time limit before you HAVE to use main event or you just lose it.
Long story short: You lose your power if you don't use it, but it's too clunky to consistently use in the middle of chase- the only time you actually get the power. These factors combined make him rather frustrating to play. And this is coming from someone who is willing to play trapper (thanks for the haste buff post trapping and putting the traps closer to gens by the way, genuinely, it makes life so much easier). I genuinely think just reducing the delay, whether it's the one before starting main event or after is less important than one of them being removed, would go a long way to making this new trickster more fun.
