The Knight hits the 8 regression events far faster than other Killers and its really irritating

The knight has the only power in the game which can regress generators.

Whenever a Killer finds a survivor on a generator with little progress it is far more benefitial to chase the survivor than it is to kick the generator first. That is not the case with the knight. I can just quickly kick the generator with a guard and immediately chase the survivor without giving them much distance. Thous I very frequently kick generators that have very little progress because there is no real downside to doing so. Or at least there WAS little to no downside. Now if I keep regressing a generator that I happen to run past multitple times a match, I eventually wont be able to kick it anymore, even if Im not intending on 3 genning or am even close to getting to the last 3 gens. I have a generator reach the 8 regression events in roughly 1/3rd of my matches, especially if its a map like Wreckers Yard and there is a very central generator that I can frequently interrupt.

I dont understand why the regression events get counted from the very start of the game, instead of only at the end of the game. I would find it far more benefitial for the overall design of this mechanic if the number of required regression events was reduced, but it would only start counting regression events when there is only 1 or maybe 2 generators left for the survivors to complete, aka a 3 gen scenario.

Wasn't there a busted Knight 3-gen strategy that made him basically unbeatable on RPD? From the sounds of it the feature is working as intended.

Though there is the point that on 6.5.0 his guard break was buffed to double that of the standard gen kick at 5%, and now with the new kicks it's back in line again for him to the base kick progression loss.
