Why does it feel like Customs / KYF matches are being neglected so much?
Playing DBD for almost 2 years now and I'm getting really frustrated how so much QoL updates and interesting content just flies miles over Customs matches.
Literally not any event has also worked on Customs, even events that would bring new interesting content to play. Snowmen? The Abyss? Lights Out? Not in customs. Even if it isn't for the points or the tasks, all these events bring just interesting forms of gameplay we just wish to play vs each other.
On top of so many other grievances Customs are still, to this day, dealing with. Like how there still is no way to save perk presets. Every single match you have to either rock your ranked match loadouts, or manually search every single perk, item and cosmetic from start.

I absolutely agree with you! Lights Out would be so much fun in custom/kyf ...
I'd really love to see more customisation options for kyf like special game modes.

Ultimately the % of people who actively use customs on a regular basis is a very small minority. Most people are queueing up to play. Any improvements towards Customs will always be a lower priority.

May I point you at the fact that the official DBD discord alone already regularly has plenty of Customs/KYF chats filled?

The DBD discord isn't ran by BHVR and the discord is still a minority population.

To clarify; There's 2 DBD discord servers. One is being ran by the r/DeadByDaylight subreddit, and another is a huge community server that most certainly has BHVR staff in it!

I was talking about the discord with BHVR staff in it. The BHVR staff do not run the discord. It is still a community ran discord. The discord also uses the term "partnered" to describe themselves.
