3 days lights out and I don't want to play normal dbd soon again.
I don't get why people claim it's killer sided. Well if you are not up for the challenge and simply take the legion as killer to bypass the obstacles of lights out or you camp around and tunnel then yes, it's killer sided.
On the other hand I think I never escaped so many matches ever before. I wasn't frustrated with dbd in 3 days (except for a few camper and tunnel killer) and never had so much fun before.
I don't get why people call it boring. I never got scared so often in the game, was never so lost on the map before and it finally does not feel stale anymore.
I think after 3 days, most of the tunneling sweatys have left the mode because it is even more boring to tunnel and camp then in normal dbd and even less rewarding. You just sit in the dark and don't even see if somebody approaches the hook + survivors have agreed (in lights out most of the time), hook gymnastic means camping so you go in for the trade last second.
Playing killer is so much fun too because you really have to controll the killer power well, have to keep in mind which generators are important for you in synergie with your power. Chases do not last 5 minutes because you either kill them in 10 seconds or they vanish in the darkness.
Killers play more "fair" (no big issue of tunneling and camping anymore on the third day). I have not seen a single survivor disrespecting the killer. Everyone simply has to escape the chase because there are no perks to carry you.
It feels like a horror game again and I think this game mode should simply stay as an option.
Lights out is soo much less stress, sweating and frustration. I have zero desire to return to the normal gameplay.
