Aim for 50% kill rate Behavior
I loved that you released your data https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3650168#Comment_3650168 however, the kill rate is definitely way worse because you do not account for disconnects and killers letting survivors go.
Also, every killer is zone camping and or tunneling.
Until you rebalance this game or switch up your logic for "We try to keep Killers near a 60% kill rate on average to keep matches relatively even and support the horror theme of the game, where the Killer is a force to be reckoned with and the survival is not guaranteed."
My friends and I have agreed this game has lost its luster due to the imbalance the how people are playing this game now. Either bring bot killers or do something about the camping/tunneling.
Leaving this game until then.

The 40/60 rate is perfectly fine. The issue is the execution.
There are majorly imbalanced mechanics on both sides. Survivors suffer from tunneling hard, and killers suffer from coordinated SWF. If you change things too much or make a sweeping nerd to either side, it will shift that balance too far in either direction.
Slow changes are sadly warranted for this situation, but they need to be smart. Individual killer adjustments, mechanic alterations that are fair for both sides, and perk adjustments are all we can hope for. Personally, I made another suggestion to add a compendium so players can learn about powers/perks/items etc easier in-game to help the knowledge check issue as well.

no. survivors should NOT be on the same power line as KILLER. in a 4v1 game if the 1 isnt more powerful than the other 4 then that position is not balanced. its weak.

No dude. We actually had 50% killrate a few years back in the BT, DH, DS, UB meta and it was awful to play against as killer. If they aimed for 50% solo escape then SWF would escape 60% of matches.

They should aim for a kill rate a bit above 55%. Killer is way too easy right now and survivor is no fun, mostly because of bad map reworks.

I'm gonna quote a post I just main in General Discussion
TLDR: The ideal kill rate, because this is an asymmetrical game, falls between 50% and 62.5%. The ideal centre of that is of course 56.25%, but there's a margin of error there for other factors like DCs, hatch escapes, etc.

In a 4v1 'horror' game with voice comms? No. 60/40 seems reasonable, practice more and wait out their balances. Watch good streamers play.

Toodaahloo 👋🏻 love that word the ratio is fine as is in my opinion. Behavior is constantly trying to make changes and balances. They can’t get to it all at once but it’s in the works.
