Killer tweaks: analysis/feedback/suggestions

So, bhvr posted the content of the next patch note, and i want to give my feedback (i play on ps4 so i can´t actually play the ptb)


The Pig:

ambush duration: 2.3 seconds (good)

ambush cooldown after a hit: 2.7 seconds (good)

ambush missed attack: 1.5 seconds (maybe?)

crouch speed: 3,8m/s (good)

crouching speed: 1 second (good)

pig can´t read jigsawboxes auras anymore (bad)

3 minutess reverse bear traps (bad)


The ambush changes are fine i guess (she can even use it for mobility if i calculated it correctly haha), it gives her a decent anti loop, but i would make her addon that makes her 6% faster while ambushing as a basekit mechanic, and then nerf the addon itself


The crouching changes are really good


And now the ´´problem´´, Her traps

Devs, the thing i´ll say almost never happens but, 3 minutes is literally the time to do all 5 generators, it´s not super common but it hurts her so much, keep it 2 minutes and 30 seconds, a better option would nerf her timer purple addon to 15 or 10 seconds instead of 20 or even rework it

And bhvr, info is a really important part of her kit, the jigsaw boxes are part of her macro game/skill ceiling, we already have 5 boxes too, noo need to deny info

The Hag


Increase the tp range to 48m (good)

decrease setting time to 0.9 seconds (good)

increase the activated time of the trap (good)

increase the time to remove a trap to 4 seconds (maybe?)

decrease the trigger range to 2.7m (good)

reverse effect for her range addons (good)


The hag will have a more precise power, really good changes, nothing to complain, my only problem is the 4 seconds to remove a trap, it can give her more time to camp hooks lol

The Clown


increase speedboost to 6 seconds (good)

decrease the activation time to the yellow bottle to 2 seconds (good)

6 bottles (good)

decrease the silly purple bottle effect (THANK GOD)


his yellow bottles are now more consistent and will not hurt your chases, clown is one of the weakest killers in the game and he needed it, just nerf the pinky finger again, nice QoL change too, i hate the bottle effect haha

The Doctor


Increased Shock Therapy range to 12m (good)

Decreased Shock Therapy detonation delay to 0.8 seconds (good)


nothing to complain, good changes, but what about trying to make one of his ´´Calm´´ addons basekit? just to see how it feels

The Demogorgon


Basekit black heart addon (good)


good change, but i would also make the rat tail brown addon (idk the name) basekit and increase the teleport speed to make his portals more, i mean, less painfully slow

The Huntress


Increased base Hatchet capacity to 7 (maybe?)

Increased movement speed while holding a hatchet to 3.54m/s (bad)

Increased Huntress’ wind up speed by 10% (bad)


huntress is already one of the strongest and most picked up killers in the game, making 3 of her best addons basekit is not a good idea, and you guys are not even nerfing her addons besides the babushka, she can have what, 10 hatchets in one chase? walk at 4.0m/s while holding a hatchet? i would cancel her buffs honestly, maybe give her one more hatchet but she doesn´t need changes

The Blight


buff C33 (☠️)


ok blight is really fun to play, but, like, i´m sorry but it makes no sense, current C33 and current Iri Tag are already the best addons in the entire game, literally stronger than the alan wake´s ptb version (99° turn rate and infinite rushes), blight can now have 20% more speed, 33% more turn rate, 20° more looking angle, and J flicks with 3 rushes and a 6 second recharge, he´s literally better than nurse ( or at least at the same level ) now and i´m not joking, i would nerf it back to 2 rushes and bring back his infinite rushes addon (it was not better than basekit blight in the live version, just a fun addon)

    Hag should just have unlimited range, having limited teleporting range incentivizes players to stay close to her traps, which in turn increases camping.

    The Huntress changes boggles my mind, she never needed any changes. Maybe rework some add-ons but thats it, she is nearly perfect the way she is.

    but about the hag one, i think it´s a good start at least, 48 meters is almost the size of some maps too,

    Yes but it'd free 3 add-ons slots too, made a thread about the Hag changes in particular.

    Even with unlimited range, Hag would still trap a specific area because it is more worthy. Not because she likes to camp but because trapping an area turns this one into a spider nety which is hard to espace for survivor once they are in. In addition, spreading ten traps over the map due to unlimit teleport, would them make less efficient. Of cause, in some situations it would be helpful to have unlimited teleport range but it wouldn't change her playstyle. Beyond that, Hag is not that good at camping - if it's not basement though - since survivors can destroy her traps and she has no tools to better camp like Huntress, Bubba, or Trickster have. In general, I am huge fan of this Hag change, she will still be an very uncommon killer but this fine because she is now perfect and her mains will even more enjoy her.

    However the Huntress' buffs are unnecessary and overpower her.
