Adjust DC Bot logic during endgame
Would it be possible to adjust the logic for the bots that get put in after a survivor DCs so that if the game comes down to just a bot (or bots) + 1 live survivor player, that the bots will sacrifice themselves to save the player?
Had a couple games recently where it came down to me and 1 bot with either 0 or 0.5 gens left to power the gates. I got hooked, and the killer immediately started chase with the bot. The bot promptly ran to the opposite side of the map, making no attempt to save me off the hook.
If it were a real player, I would have suicided so they could play for hatch. But there is no point in doing that for a bot. Can we adjust the bot logic so that if there is only 1 live player left, they do everything in their power to save that player, even if it means the bots themselves go down/die?
Or the flip side could also be true: if the bot is on hook leaving only the player in the game (with multiple gens left to do), can they just miss their skill checks so they die and spawn hatch, giving the live player a chance to escape?
I don't see any problems with this since live players do it all the time anyway. What do y'all think?
