Cage of Atonement Aura Bug...?

Sorry I don't have any pictures or anything, but I was using Hex: Face The Darkness a couple days ago on Pyramid Head and I heard Adam scream and saw his Aura from within a Cage of Atonement.
This, in turn, allowed me to easily go to his location and not only down him, but down a Thalita who was rescuing him.
Regardless of it actually being a bug or not, it's very cheap to have a Survivor's Aura revealed from within a Cage of Atonement, especially with Perks such as Hex: Face The Darkness that can reveal Auras easily and without maby prerequisites.
