Accepting SWF invitations is a pain on console because of the recent changes

It used to be that I could hit a button on the controller to accept a friend's invitation to play together. For some reason, this QoL feature was recently removed from the game. Why in the world was this functionality removed? Why was it decided to make playing on console worse?

I've had it take 10+ seconds to maneuver the cursor to actually hit the "Accept" button on screen. This is a controller independent issue, I just replaced the controller and the problem persists. Using the analog stick to control the cursor is nightmarishly bad on Switch. Maybe if there were dead zone and response curve settings the cursor would respond to input in a reasonable manner, but DbD has ignored issues and left console players miserable for years. And for some reason you made things worse with your newest UI changes on the menu screens.

Moving the cursor using the analog stick isn't quite as inconvenient on PS4, but it's still not great.

I should be able to press a button on the controller to accept a friend's invitation to play. The cursor is fine on PC because players use a mouse. Forcing players to be so reliant on the cursor on console, especially for very small buttons that require a large amount of precision to hover over, is maddening. I would release a torrent of swear words right now if it wouldn't just get censored. Do you guys really not know how goddamn frustrating the controls on console are? Why would you make QoL on console worse??
