anti camp

while i love the anti camp feature and it has helped me the fact that it wont go up if a survivor is standing nearby or even looping the killer near by is kind of unhelpful. I am still getting tunneled and camped hard and my team tries to save me but when im being camped and killer is chasing them away i get no progress in the anti camp bar. maybe we can make it so it goes up still but maybe a bit slower then if no survivors were around? tunneling and camping has gotten so much worse recently i just don't even want to play anymore when i waste my bps or escape cakes just to die at 4 gens from being camped with one teammate trying to save nearby

    Well tgw anti camp feature surely had its flaws but when other survivor keep hanging around when the killer camps thats on your team.

    In fact the whole reason why the progress stops when there is another survivor in range is because when bhvr started to test anti camp stuff they test survivor quickly found out that they could just loop a killer around the hook to get a free unhook cause the killer either has to leave or the system activates and both end in a free u hook.

    So thank the survivor from way back then for that

    I feel as if the killer slugs, anybody near the hook Survivor the meter should go up if the killer remains next to the hook. I see many times where the killer will camp it out because they can. Generally, because the survivor forgets to get away from the hook and crawl.

    I believe the meter should definitely go up if a slug survivor is near the hook.

    if a survivor gets themselves down by the hook, the killer shouldn't be punished for using that for additional pressure.

    Survivors need to be smarter about how they save.

    I partially agree.

    I get that as a killer main but it’s a downed survivor. They can’t contribute. They’re a non threat to a hook save.

    The meter only slows down for killers when other survivors are nearby because they are swarming in for the save. A slugged survivor can’t do anything while he’s got his face in the dirt.

    The meter should gradually and slowly rise. Not crazy fast but at least a little bit as opposed to nothing.

    It's still the fault of the survivor for getting themselves down near the hook. Survivors shouldn't get free unhooks bc they messed up.

    I didn’t say they should get a free unhook. I’m meeting you halfway. The bar should still go up slightly. I’m not talking exponential rates or anything crazy, however, it should slightly go up a little bit.

    Especially if the killer is face camping. That’s the whole purpose of the mechanic. The Survivor isn’t gonna be able to do anything anyways. Its not going to hurt the killer if the mechanic meter goes up a tiny bit while being face camped. That defeats the purpose of a face camping mechanic.

    @MikaelaWantsYourBoon Maybe I am wrong? 🤷🏼‍♂️

    If the killer is facecamping, survivors need to stay away from the hook and do gens. Running at the hook to only go down is not the fault of the anti-facecamp system. The survivors simply misplayed.
