The battle for cheating has been lost, that's a fact.

I want to say that as a vanilla player of your game, as well as being part of a community that never ever wanted to lean towards outside software, modification, ini. abuse, and along with all other sorts of ways to abuse this game inside and out and cause mental frustration to your customers. It's been a clear fact that you don't care about your vanilla players whether it's on pc, console, etc. HELL, I see players all the time defend these actions as well and you guys don't do anything about it. We are 3 years into this issue and still no complete action has been done. All I hear is slaps on the wrist to anyone that cheats, no loss of your steam/epic account, no loss of progress, no lawsuits, etc. You just let them get away consistently along with also seeing players being able to stream/upload content straight up without investigation or care. I'm going to be honest with this community, I am a straight up camp and tunnel, it's all I do, because as my main he's so weak all you can do is focus on one even if it is a loss always the best option now. But the question is, if I decided to cheat and consistently get away with it all of the time and the developers never did anything about it, would that be good for the game? Or you do you think eventually players would just leave? Luckily, we mostly see survivors doing this so maybe that's you won't do anything about it. I'm very sad about all this, look, I understand that you think if you just ignore the issue that it will just go away or you just don't want to disclose actual information of how you guys want to deal with cheaters, but YOU are the developers of this game, nothing should matter if you say it or not, just consistently go after it. While no cheating software can be perfect, this is fine and okay and fine with running into cheaters until it's dealt with. But consistently running into cheaters for 3 years along with seeing the same name with multiple hours I can tell you guys gave up on it. Sadly this comes off as a rant, but I really loved this game for it's longevity, creativity, and how unpredictable every trial was, surprisingly my most favorite ones were losing them because of all learning that could be achieved, but we are now at that point and we cannot learn how to play against cheaters unless we become them, I never will. I will always be checking to see if you guys did anything to this game to clean it up, but doubt it.

No anti-cheat is ever infallible, which is why we describe cheating as an arms race - players find a way to cheat, we block it, new ways are found, it's a never ending circle. We definitely actively ban players, we have even shown those numbers in the past of how many we ban in a given period.

Whilst I completely understand your frustrations regarding players who use cheats, I will close this thread.
