In Relation To Mapping The Realm
So, while I was giving feedback on the RPD maps, I thought to myself a way that they can make each variation less of a hassle to contend with as Killer.
East side: (Fire Escape side)
Seal the entrances to the Library. One big problem on this side is that when a Survivor loops on the West side, they have access to two god pallets in the "Welcome Leon" room and the Armoury. On top of that, literally, is the Library. This is also a very strong tile that then drops back down into the Armoury or "Welcome Leon" room and the Main Hall of course.
Sealing the Library and moving the gen from that area into a potential gen spawn area of the map (and making it a static spawn) would make it so there isn't so much time wasted on the blocked off West side as it is on the widely opened out East side.
West side: (Stars Office side)
Just like on the East side, were sealing more of the map off. Seal the Storage Room (has the statue in it) next to the Fire Escape. This room either has an insanely strong pallet, or a weak one. Also seal the door that links the Storage Room to Chief Irons Office. That would make this corridor a straight shot. This prevents Survivors from ducking in and out of rooms and corridors on the supposedly blocked off short side of the map. Again, all the while, on the open portion there are lots of strong loops and rooms and corridors to duck into. Minimising the need for Killers to worry about Survivors running rings around the rooms merely wasting time before the Killer catches up and can then go to a safe pallet.
These changes (or changes in this style of blocking more of the shorter sides off) would definitely improve gameplay on the chase side of things. If a Survivor is being followed but not chased, there is no pressure on any of the team. Minimising that would keep a more fluid pace to a map that could do with more activeness on it. Coz as it is, Killers don't need to leave a hook area once they've got someone, or at least, feel like they shouldn't because they know any fresh chases with a healthy Survivor can lose them the game because of how much w-key into god pallets and safe pallets there are on this map.
