Wicked Needs A Restriction
Just as I suspected they would when I saw Wicked announced, Survivors are abusing it's potential.
Good Survivors that know they've run their course in a chase and are gonna go down soon, will run straight into the basement and hop into the back locker or just crouch in the corner of the back wall. This forces the Killer to grab them out of it and hook them down there or slug them. Either choice you make, you've had so much time wasted. Coz if you run it with Unbreakable or Tenacity you lose all potential pressure; or they are in a SWF they're all clued in as to what is happening and won't bother to get the unnecessary rescue.
Basement spawns, with the exception of a few maps, with no other hooks anywhere near to it. Meaning you have no alternative in taking them out to hook them elsewhere. Haddonfield and Badham spring to mind.
I think, Wicked should have the added restriction of:
"If you are placed into the Dying state within 8 meters of the basement, Wicked does not activate."
My experience going against this perk, multiple times, aside, the logic is sound. This is another Boil Over + Flip Flop then constantly going upstairs to a dead end area just to waste the Killers time scenario. The Devs knew how problematic that was on maps with upstairs areas and added hooks up there or have outright blocked off the upstairs area of the map to prevent it being an abusable combo. Wicked is in that same boat as that. Survivors will be able to and are manipulating matches far too easily with this perk equipped in it's current state.

This is more an issue with those maps than it is with Wicked. I don't know why Badham still has no hook inside the preschool.

The majority of maps have no hooks near basement. That's something that is never gonna change. It's been how they code it for years now

Solid point but you're still progressing the game and applying some form of pressure via a hook state even if you are "forced" to hook a survivor down in the basement with Wicked. The best thing to do in this situation is to leave the basement ASAP and search for another survivor.
I like the concept of this perk (& Sable in general) as it makes an undesirable location somewhat manageable.

But you're not though, you're forced into hooking someone who is not eating into any of the teams objective time. Or you slug them and take a risk they don't have a perk for that situation too. And most likely you can't tunnel them efficiently either coz they'll probably have an assortment of either DS, Off The Record or Dead Hard to go with it. A broken combination that just saps all of the potential pressure a Killer could have had away in an instant. It's Deliverance that a Survivor is in full control of and the Killer has little to no input against.
It definitely needs a nerf, restricting that particular play style with it.
The concept is solid and I like it. But I knew from the announcement that this would be a perk that has an abusable aspect to it, and I was spot on.
