Getting a lot of matches were all 4 are stuffed to one side of the map not near any gens so can never use them

    On the contrary, even with a normal hook, the distance is so far that it is extremely difficult to hang the survivors from the hook. Well, think of it as a random perks. Therefore, pop is used in combination to avoid being swayed by that.
