Anonymous Mode

Does anyone know if anonymous is actually bugged or is it just some stupid software on Steam/Epic Game side which shows Steam user's (killer's) profile even tho anonymous mode is on?

I faced 3-4 SWF team (some of them were slighty toxic in the chat) and one of them knew my Steam name, even tho anonymous mode is on. Steam profile isn't private, it's public.


And if it's software, is there any news about patching it?
