wanna know why? Cause with the abnormal gen speed, it is the only way to win the game in most cases.

The question is more where did the fast gens came from? Gen time was 80s for the better time of dbd and was increased to 90s because people were complaining about Gen speeds.

Prove as well as toolboxes have been nerfed over the bord (BNP was maybe buffed though).

True is, that gen regression has been nerfed mostly because there is so much nowadays and if people stack it it can be overwhelming if the Survivors go down too fast (thinking of old PR+Pop).

The only thing I know is that information about recources on the map is a powerful tool. Chaos mod showed that. Knowing where your teammates threw pallets is a great deal and make survivors more efficient. Also aura perks are not as viable if 3/4 use Distortion. The result is stacked Gen slowdown and tunneling. Chaos mod also showed, that better base game anti tunnel is needed (or a real incentive NOT to tunnel), as without OTR/DS it is way too easy.

TLDR: If we don't fix the real source of the problem, it will never get better.
