invocation should really take half as much time

invocations are literally a joke because they take so long with so little reward. Whenever I find survivors doing an invocation in the basement, I leave them alone and let them finish, because it's not going to make any difference and it's just gonna make one of them broken.

and when I play survivors I do invocations for the lulz, not because it has any strategic value.

That is mighty kind of you, as a survivor when I see people doing this and sadly its only in solo que cause me and my swf do not use that perk am like well game over. I never thought I would ever find a perk that I finally dislike over urban evasion like this one. There is so much better useful perks + tool boxes for gen speed. If 4 people (which am surprised I do not see) each bring a bnp and pop them on 4 different gens that is literally innovation done in less than 5 seconds!!! lol.

The part that bothers me the most about invocations is how ridiculously fast the progress resets when no one is actively working on the circle anymore. That in my opinion should be addressed first.

I could see the time being reduced to 100 or maybe 80 seconds at most since we only have one invocation and we should wait until we get our second or third one to see how OP they would be when stacked on top of each other.

Players using this in solo queue instantly throw the game when they decide to do it, and always at the worst times. Often having to force the only guy doing a gen to unhook bc the other person is being chased/downed. Im all for reducing the time, but at the cost of lowering it to 5% instead of 10% gen repairs.

Better scrap the idea of invocation, it's kinda like boons but even worse.

Broken or useless, there is no in between.

I actually don‘t mind the time, but the Brocken effect sucks. If they would make you only loose a hook state instead, it would be cool. Also why can‘t you do more than one invocation?

No! I think time should be doubled so no one will ever use this ######### perk anymore.

I'm tired of all those gen speed or gen regression perks, items or add-ons. Gens are the worst part of the whole game and an outdated mechanic. I want to be beaten as a killer by the survivors dodging or hiding or mindgaming skills not by a hidden time limit.

By invocations do you mean the singular invocation? There's only one currently.

It's actually an incredibly powerful effect. It's not made to be done solo is the thing people seem to be neglecting.

Not to derail the topic, but what goal would you prefer instead of gens?

I don't say that gens as a part of "the way to escape" are a problem, but sitting 90sec+ on them and doing skill checks is boring now. Someone else on this forum asked, if chests should become a bigger part in the game. Yeah, why not. For example rummaging some chest to find spare parts and after that you can repair a gen with them in 30sec. At least you have to travers the map a bit more and have to look around.
