Wiggle Bar Disappearing Act

I play Dead by Daylight on PC (Steam).
Was picked up and carried to a hook, with the other 3 survivors trying to body block and take hits, as I was on death hook. We were playing against the Blight, and as soon as he got to a hook, he tried to proceed with hooking me but was stopped by the body blocking. This caused my wiggle bar to disappear entirely. May be related to split second timing on animations?
I was playing as Dwight, the other teammates were Mikaela, Nea, and Claudette.
My perks were Alert, Bond, Renewal, and Windows of Opportunity.
We were playing in Withered Aisle, Garden of Joy.
