Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Music is WAY too loud for chases for older killers

Thanks to the developer team for all the great work you have done.

We've recently seen a spate of QOL improvements for survivors: Anti-Camp, improvement of Decisive strike, the inability to pull survivors when they try to grab a fellow player off the hook. The list goes on and on.

We've even seen another advantage added - the use of a visual heartbeat for survivors with hearing difficulties which it seems all survivors are taking advantage of.

When will we see hearing advantages for killers? For a player in his 50s, it can be very hard to hear survivors over loud music and the myriad of other sounds when in the midst of a chase. I've made lots of adaptations to the sound effects and bought a very good surround sound headset with digital audio, but with no luck in helping me. I understand the point of the chase music, but it's just way too loud and I can't find a way to turn it down. Can killers get a visual cue helper like survivors? Or am I missing a way to optimize the sound?

If I'm not missing a way to tweak it, It seems unfair to help one side with disabilities while leaving the other side to fend for themselves.

All the music is way too loud. By far, the worst is the music while dying on the ground. I have to turn down the volume when it is playing then turn out back up for the rest of the game.
