Bug with Tome Challenge "Tough Skin"

I play on PC. The Tough Skin challenge in Tome 17 page 3 appears to be bugged and is not counting progress. The challenge states: "Take two hit(s) while affected by the endurance status effect." I have both taken a hit after being unhooked as well as taken a hit using the perk, Dead Hard. Neither instance counted towards the completion of the challenge. I have been unable to do it twice in one trial but the challenge does not state "Complete this challenge in a single trial." so I have no reason to believe that is the reason.
