Please make a ranked mode with tight matchmaking
Please I'm so sick of this broad MMR system matching me with players who don't do gens and seem like they just installed the game an hour earlier. I would rather play a ranked mode with tight matchmaking, even if it takes longer to find good games. For people who just want to play chill with fast games they can do the casual mode.

Last time they made the MMR stricter several months back the better players did indeed get matched with each other way more often. And guess what they discovered? That the sweats going up against the sweats repeatedly became less and less fun. The more stressful it became the worse it got, and wait times did increase as well.
The backlash from this made them lessen the MMR back to about where the soft cap was prior.

At the same time decent killers get put against bad players and it's just not even remotely fun/challenging. I would rather have consistently challenging matches where I know what I'm getting into.

If it's consistent and stable matchmaking you wish for, then something effective needs to be done about lobby dodging & shopping. That is the biggest problem the MMR system has right now, the awful backfilling issues that lead to the wildly mismatched players.
But each time this community is asked whether they want quicker queue times or quality matchmaking, the resounding answer has always been queue times. The masses always want fast queues, while the best players don't want to always go up against each other either. So here we are.
