PC - Raccoon City Police Department Misaligned Level Geometry
Steps to recreate
- Boot up the game
- Play Killer
- Load into Raccoon City Police Department (either variant)
- Ascend the stairs in the central room to the top of the foyer
- Walk through certain parts of the balcony near the lion statue causes the killer's Z axis position to be nearly a meter above where it should be
Additional Information:
First encountered in a public match as Deathslinger
Issue is consistent regardless of equipped perks.
Error is consistently replicated in custom matches.
Error is present in both the East Wing and West Wing map variants.
Error is consistent across all killers.
Survivors appear to be unaffected.
The misaligned geometry does not trigger collision detection for Hillbilly's Chainsaw Sprint.
The misalignment blocks Nurse from teleporting onto the majority of the affected zone.
Misaligned area prevents the placement of Trapper's Bear Traps.
The Blight cannot bump against the elevated zone.
The Twins: Charlotte is unable to Unbind Victor while standing on the elevated zone; Victor is freely able to pounce onto or off of the zone. If controlling Victor while Charlotte is standing atop the zone, Charlotte is visibly floating.
The Mastermind's Virulent Bound appears to be unimpeded by the elevated zone.
More testing required to discover how this issue affects each killer and their abilities.
