First: Sry for my bad english.
Second: The devs can use this ideas.
Would be great, if we get a PTB test week.
Players can only play survivors or pig, but the pig has all addons and perks.
So players can test the stuff
Third: I wrote many pig balance ideas.
Finally with all the comments, this is my final version.
And thx for all the comments :3

The pig

Basic things:
-vision must be higher, while crouching
-only the pig see the reverse beartrap timer(Rly pls do it)
-crouching movement speed is 100%

ambush attacks:
-the sound trigger only if you hit survivors
-for every successful attack(normal and ambush attack), the pig get a token
-every token increase the crouch movement speed(max.10)
-if the pig is camping(losing emblem points for this category),it lose tokens

reverse beartraps:
-the survivors cant see Jigsaw boxes aura, when they dont wear a reverse beartrap or when the trap isnt active
-the first Jigsaw box has never the right key
-timer = 2 minutes
-if an others survivor is near the timer gets 0,5 seconds faster
timer speed = 1 seconds + 0,5 seconds * number of near survivors
-the survivors with a reverse beartraps get 1 minute extra time, if 1 survivor die
-when someone leave the game through the gates or the hatch(but only if this survivor dont was in a chase), 1 survivor
with a reverse beartrap will die
-when the survivor wears a reverse beartrap, he cant escape through the hatch and the gates
-timer start when the gates are powered, too`
-if you wear a reverse beartrap your movement speed is by 105%
-when the survivor with a reverse beartrap is downed or on a hook or is in a chase, the timer stops

-If a survivor dies from a reverse bear trap, the other survivors can find a record of Amanda.
The one who finds it gets 10% more blood points.
And the survivor who has died gets an item token.
If you have 10 item tokens, you unlock the reverse confetti bear traps.
If you equip this cosmetic, only as survivor, then explode the reverse bear traps with a confetti rain.
Only the reverse bear trap on the own head.

The obsession has Aura reading of the survivor they are linked to and can see that survivors icon in blue. The obsession gains 50% more altruism while helping that survivor. The obsession also receives 50% more healing speed when healing that survivor. Should that survivor die the Shotgun collar activates. Upon finding the correct jigsaw box the collar is removed. On the other hand failing a jigsaw box results in the shotgun collar exploding. Attempting to leave through the exit gates results in the shotgun collar exploding. Should the survivor linked to the obsession survive via exit gates or hatch the collar is deactivated.

I like your ideas. (that's all I'm gonna say bc I'm too lazy to construct a message that tries to come up with balanced ideas for the add-ons).

However, for Rules Set No.2, instead of that long, confusing description it could be like this instead:

-Every survivor starts the trial with a trap on their head immediately.
    -Traps are not activated.
-Jigsaw Boxes auras are revealed to survivors when the trap goes off.
-The first box survivors search does not grant them a key (could be a power buff)
-Survivors can only search Jigsaw Boxes when their trap goes off.

Also, for another 'power buff', when crouched as the Pig, you can vault pallets, similar to how survivors slow vault pallets. An add-on that corresponds to this buff could be like this:

    Name: Iridescent Cloak
    Rarity: Ultra Rare
Description: The cloak John's other apprentices worn while kidnapping others. Unlocks tremendous potential in The Pig's ability.
Effect: After putting a trap on a survivor, the next pallet you vault over is instantly destroyed. The timer which you can break a pallet after setting a trap is 'unlimited', meaning as soon as you set a trap, the next pallet vaulted is broken. However, you can't repeatedly break pallets by vaulting them. In order to do this again, another trap must be set.

Some more add-ons could be ambushing a survivor affects them with a debuff, such as Exhaustion for 30 seconds.

Otherwise, I LOVE your ideas of survivors healing their hands after searching a box, or them becoming injured. It's very realistic, however, what if an injured survivor searches a box? Are they put into the Dying state?

Another add-on I came up with is...

    Name: Used Timer
    Rarity: Ultra Rare
Description: A used timer that has been heavily modified and lubricated. As of age and modification, the timer does not know when to stop and continuously ticks.
-The survivor's trap timer, while in a chase, continues to tick.
-Tremendously increases the timer (1 minute).

I posted this in another thread a good while ago, but the premise lies behind the general idea that ruleset no. 2 should be part of her base kit. The idea behind ruleset is a great idea, sure, why show the auras of every single jigsaw box if all people are gonna do is stall out gen progress until the trap is off, or say you're unfortunate and they stumble across the first box they get the thing off first try before the trap even activates because a gen never got done. Wasting a pink slot for this is unnecessary. Now I can see some arguments to say (well what happens if you put a trap on someone and its the end of the game and the exit gates are opened with ruleset 2 being base kit they can't see any of the boxes because theres no way for the traps to activate.....so why not make jigsaw box auras reveal themselves at the end of the game by default if the idea is to give the survivors that advantage for balance? Her problem isn't end game though, her problem is increasing the risks for survivors during the actual struggle of mid game? I dunno devs can make their choice on that one, but some ideas. Also within this thread I really liked the face mask change that makes people drunk while they have a jigsaw box on and see purple and ######### like the clown bottles. Imagine running around with that on and trying to focus on gens or jigsaw boxes. It'd probably instill immediate panic on survivors not ready for it. Better status effect than blind imo. Its better to blind the person thats not in trouble to prevent them from helping their team mates instead of blind the person who was just knocked down and castrated and currently running for his life ala perfect skills like knockout.

New pink add on is obsession based.

Death is a Surprise Party: Start the trial with 3 bear traps. The obsession of the trial starts the trial with a shotgun collar, this shotgun collar is linked to 1 of the survivors randomly. Should the survivor linked to the obsession survive via exit gates or hatch the collar is deactivated.

(I thought about making the shotgun collar explode immediately upon the linked survivor dying, but considering the human condition, that may lead to trolling Also since the boxes are preset, it allows some counter play for SWF groups who can memorize or attempt to memorize which jigsaw box they were at upon removal.)

You know what would be nice also. A survivor can't take the hatch with a trap on their head much like how they can't go through the exit gates. Had a trap on my head at the end of one match. The others survivors escaped, but I couldn't go through the exit gates of course. I had learned recently from truetalent that the hatch negates that. So I knew where the hatch was and escaped. I don't think the killer was too happy.

Yes i will change the describtion.
    Its rly confusing.

That was an old idear from me, too.
But i delete it, because it could be to powerful.
    Its rly difficult.

    Legion is released.
Vaulting pallets is a difficult topic.
Maybe i will use this addon to include it in the discusion.
    But im not 100% sure.
If yes i will message you.

Some more add-ons could be ambushing a survivor affects them with a debuff, such as Exhaustion for 30 seconds.

maybe i could change 1 addon.
That survivor get a debuff, if the pig hits them and if they wear the trap.

Otherwise, I LOVE your ideas of survivors healing their hands after searching a box, or them becoming injured. It's very realistic, however, what if an injured survivor searches a box? Are they put into the Dying state?

    Thank you.
And only injured, like the beartraps from trapper.
You will not get into the dying state, because this addon.

Another add-on I came up with is...

-The survivor's trap timer, while in a chase, continues to tick.
-Tremendously increases the timer (1 minute).

i think i will add this in the discusion.
Or do you have a problem with it?

The hatch is always bad for the killer.
    And yes i hate it.
    If survivor use the key.
And nobody must remove the reverse beartrap.
    Its just a free escape.

I said i message you, if i change it.
    And yes i change it

    ambush attacks:
-the sound trigger only if you hit survivors
-the pig can jump over pallets, but you must hit the space button infront of the pallet
-a failed pallet jump stuns the killer
-after a successful pallet jump, the dash lunge holds longer

But in my opinion, i dont want addons for it.
    Because Legion.
My thought was, that it should be a high skill gameplay.
If you have very much skill, then you can use it.
My guideline for balance it, was the nurse.
Nurse is fast and destroy pallets and windows.
Pig is slow, but she slows down the game.
And now she can destroy pallets.
I think with this change, pig could be nurse lvl with addons.
Without addons she is mid tier.
    What do you think?

I'm not sure I could get behind some of these. Vaulting pallets would lead to a legion situation with no counterplay.

Yeah vaulting pallets are a difficult topic, because the legion.
I removed it first, but now i add it.
Because it would be interesting to test it.
    It could be interesting.
And its not like the vaulting from legion.
I want that the killer play need skill for it and survivor could just leave the area.
It need 1-2 seconds to prepare this vaulting.

Increased timer speed with other survivors nearby makes it possible for other people to grief that survivor by following them around and making their timer go down faster.

    DbD is a teamgame.
    Or it should be.
    Survivors will get bad teammates.
They must learn to be good team mates.

Deducting points for powering a generator while someone has a trap basically punishes someone for doing the objective.

Yeah, but you activate a deadly reverse beartrap.
I think survivors should get a punishemt for it.
And i rly like the old 99% gen tactic.
    Survivors could do this again.
And i think some survivors would enjoy it.

I also don't like how a different survivor dies just because someone left the match. I could easily chase someone out and someone else gets sacrificed because of it.

    You are totally right.
    I will change it.
    Example:
When 1 survivor is in a chase and he left the game, then the reverse beartraps dont kill someone.

There's a lot of good changes here though. The higher camera and quiet ambush would be huge, as would the increased crouch speed.

Making it so the RBTs cannot be removed with just one box would make it a lot more consistent, and I like that.

    Thx :3
And btw many numbers are just guidelines, because i cant test anything

I'm also a fan of increasing a survivor's move speed while trapped because it discourages tunneling a guy with a trap (seriously, too many people do this and it literally does nothing, you might as well not have a power at that point).

    Im glad you like it.
I have the same opinion about that.

I don't think she's that far off from being a good killer, I think see just needs some slight buffs and QOL tweaks.

    She is a good killer.
    But she has little problems.
But gameplay details are rly important for me.

    Thx, for your opinion.
I hope i can improve my pig design with the informations from the community.
And im rly sry for my bad english.
    I should improve it,too.

The trailers are purely cinematic and not related to the gameplay, much like how the legion puts on a mask in the Darkness Among Us trailer.

-if an others survivor is near the timer gets 0,5 seconds faster
timer speed = 1 seconds + 0,5 seconds * number of near survivors
-when someone leave the game through the gates or the hatch(but only if this ? >survivor dont was in a chase), 1 survivor with a reverse beartrap will die
-timer start when a generator is completed and the survivor who completed the >generator lose -2000 points

I like some of the changes you listed. However, I heavily dislike the idea of all of these ones I have quoted.

It not only makes the game unfun for Survivors but it harshly punishes them for playing the game. Griefing would be a huge issue with Pig fights and losing BP is an awful idea.

You can't use the "99%" gens argument for a few reasons:

    1. New time players would not know and some may take a while to realize this is even a thing.
    2. The Pig can attack gens to regress them. Leaving Gens at 99% is asking for trouble. Especially if the one who has the RBT is having a hard time getting the trap off.
    3. Players have different playstyles and forcing them to play one way so they don't straight up lose points is unfun and a poor design choice.

I can clearly understand your opinion.

I would like it, if some very good DbD players(Monto,Noob3,Tru3talent) could test it.
And then i could better improve this design.

It not only makes the game unfun for Survivors but it harshly punishes them for playing the game. Griefing would be a huge issue with Pig fights and losing BP is an awful idea.

In my opinion DbD should be a team game.
The Saw traps are a "team game",too.
Yes many survivor trolls a lot.
But this is a survivor problem.
They should learn, how to play friendly.

New time players would not know and some may take a while to realize this is even a thing.

They are new and must learn the game.
They must learn killer and survivor ability.
I designed this concept for high rank and not for low rank.

    1. Players have different playstyles and forcing them to play one way so they don't straight up lose points is unfun and a poor design choice.

    Yes, i can understand that.
But i dont have an other solution
Survivors should get a punishment, if they activate a deadly trap.

when someone leave the game through the gates or the hatch(but only if this ? >survivor dont was in a chase), 1 survivor with a reverse beartrap will die

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zq70uL5x-7c
    1:34-1:40

I make this, because the key.
Many survivors just leave her teammate, when they have a hatch key.
And then you got suddenly a 2 vs 1 game with 2 geneator left.

Survivors cant hear the breath from the pig.

Not is a bad idea the problem it's her needs its power to reduce the gen rush if u remove traps reduces control in games.
The Pig need an additional effect on bear traps to force the survivors to look for the puzzle boxes immediately, make lose time to survivors and reduce gen-rush.

    My idea is the next:
Increase the speed when the Pig is crouched.

Reverse Bear Traps are put on Dying Survivors.
Reverse Bear Traps automatically sacrifice the Survivor when they trigger.
Reverse Bear Traps trigger automatically beyond the Exit Gates .
Reverse Bear Traps trigger once their timers expire.
Reverse Bear Traps timers start when a Generator is completed.
Survivors can free themselves from Reverse Bear Traps by searching Jigsaw Boxes found around the Map to find the correct Key
Survivors caught with a Reverse Bear Traps suffer a penalty decreases the repair speed an additional 25%.

    Before the edit:

-the pig can jump over pallets, but you must hit the space button infront of the pallet
-a failed pallet jump stuns the killer
-after a successful pallet jump, the dash lunge holds longer

    After the edit:

-for every successful attack(normal and ambush attack), the pig get a token
-every token increase the crouch movement speed(max.10)
-if the pig is camping(losing emblem points for this category),it lose tokens

Pallet vaulting is a difficult topic, because the legion.
But i think this change is good, because the pig perk "Make your choice".
Its a good perk, but the pig was just to slow for it.
And now she can get more map pressure, if she is good.

    I wont change this things:

    reverse beartraps:
-if an others survivor is near the timer gets 0,5 seconds faster
-timer speed = 1 seconds + 0,5 seconds * number of near survivors
-if you wear a reverse beartrap your movement speed is by 105%

Survivors could abuse the 105% movement speed.
They are faster, they can better unhook.
And the pig shouldnt chase them.
This is the reason for the new timer speed.
Survivors with the extra movement speed shouldnt help her team much.
    They should safe her life.

I really enjoy reading your post and I liked a lot of your ideas! However, for Rules Set No.2, it does seem a confusing and a bit complicated (half asleep here). How about keeping the original idea of the Addon but add a little bit to it to make it more interesting (and to be able to fit in a text square). 😁

    • Disables the Survivors' ability to see Jigsaw Boxes highlighted until their Trap is activated. (Original)
    • Once a survivor has removed the Reverse Bear Trap, that survivor suffers from the Broken status effect for 1 min. (Added)
It would nice to see the more debuff status effects implimented in the game like
Broken, Intoxicated, and Deafen to more killer addons (or perks) since it would make for more interesting builds.

Yes, i know Rule No.2 is rly confusing, but I want something new.
My english is not pretty good.

"Not all games need to have the same rules."
    The conclusion:

    • repair 5 gens
    • then search for the right key(reverse beartrap)
    • then go through the gates
If 1 survivor killer another survivor with the kill switch.
Then he must fight vs this addon again,in the next match.

    But yes its rly confusing.
And a debuff ultra rare addon could be interesting.
But it should be a strong and every game another effect.
    Thx for this informations.

    PS:
The original Rule No.2 is in the pig basekit.

The pig was fine on release. But even though everyone complained and wanted an unnecessary buff, she got a buff. And now you guys want ANOTHER buff and/or a rework. Like man people are never happy. She’s literally fine to play in her current state.

    In my opinion.
She is fine, but not high tier.
And i want all killer on the same lvl.
And RNG can ruin the game for the pig.
And she dont have good addons.
And my complete discusion is about reverse beartraps and addons.
And 1 thing for her ambush.
Pig is on the tier list mid or low tier, for me.

    So i explained my opinion.
Pig is good but has many weak points(addons, reverse beartraps).
And i want delete this "weak points".

All the Pig needs now is:

    No sound on ambush
Higher view point in crouch ( it currently doesn't match how high you actually are )
Rule Set #2 at base ( this is a joke to have as an Ultra Rare )
Amanda's Letter shouldn't have the trap reduction penalty (it's decent, but not that amazing that it's deserving of a downside )
Buff her addons affecting skill check chances and pentalties during box searches ( they are quite underwhelming )

The first 2 are the biggest must haves imo, so if anything at least do those. The rest are in order of importance if there's time for more. With all these changes she would be much more viable and quite balanced.

There's quite a lot of other good ideas in OP's post but I just think it's WAY too much for this dev team. They need something that's much easier and faster to implement. All those changes are like an entire new killer worth of work.

Its rly much work, but addons are rly important for killers.
And Amanda doesnt have many good addons.
The reverse Beartraps addons arent good, because its RNG with the Jigsaw boxes.
And the other addons for her dash are ok, but not rly good.
I think she has 4-6 good addons.

Btw i hope they will make the Freddy rework first, then Bubba and then maybe pig?

I'd agree as well, all killers should be viable and currently I'd only put 3 killers as viable with another 2 as a maybe. That's at least half the killers that aren't up to par.

I'd rather see Pig ahead of Bubba but I mean that's just because I like Pig more.

I'd agree as well, all killers should be viable and currently I'd only put 3 killers as viable with another 2 as a maybe. That's at least half the killers that aren't up to par.

    Pig is my main killer.
But Bubba just need a complete rework.
And pig need basic things and addons.
But maybe in some years, all killers are viable.

All the Pig needs now is:

    No sound on ambush
Higher view point in crouch ( it currently doesn't match how high you actually are )
Rule Set #2 at base ( this is a joke to have as an Ultra Rare )

    I agree.
And it is in my discusion.

Amanda's Letter shouldn't have the trap reduction penalty (it's decent, but not that amazing that it's deserving of a downside )
Buff her addons affecting skill check chances and pentalties during box searches ( they are quite underwhelming )

I was saying that 2 years ago but here we are lol. Bubba was definitely a rushed release without much thought into him.

Pig is very close to being in a good spot, she only needs a few things and she'll be there.

I'd like it as well if they went a little crazier with the PTB. PTB doesn't always have to have intended changes in it. They could throw some more extreme changes into it just for people to test them out and see if they like it. Similar to what they did with the recent Legion and SC changes that were on PTB. They weren't intended for implementation but more to throw them out there and just see what people thought.

Hopefully they see this page and take in some of the changes we've presented.

Hard to imagine matches where stealth killers getting surprise attacks is actually threatening enough that people start running Premonition or Spine Chill.

    Before the edit:

    Bag Of Gears
    Stacks: Yes
    Rarity: Rare
Description: A few mechanical parts that allow the creation of challenging Jigsaw Boxes and easier to install Reverse Bear Traps.
    Effect:
Slightly increases the time it takes Survivors to search a Jigsaw Box.
Slightly decreases the time it takes to put on a Reverse Bear Trap.

    Crate of Gears
    Stacks: Yes
    Rarity: Very Rare
Description: This collection of mechanical parts allows the creation of extra-challenging Jigsaw Boxes and Reverse Bear Traps that are easier to install.
    Effect:
Considerably increases the time it takes Survivors to search a Jigsaw Box.
Moderately decreases the time it takes to put the Reverse Bear Trap on a Survivor.

    Bag Of Gears
    Stacks: Yes
    Rarity: Rare
Description: A few mechanical parts that allow the creation of challenging Jigsaw Boxes and easier to install Reverse Bear Traps.
    Effect:
The player can modificate this addon.
The player can choose 1 modifications.
It can be several times the same modification.
    - Increases the time it takes Survivors to search a Jigsaw Box
    - A poison that is not fatal, but slows the survivor
    - Disables the Survivors ability to see Jigsaw Boxes highlighted
    - While crouched, see outlines of Survivors within 8/16/24/32 metres of range (The range increases if you use this modification several times)
-The sound and the light from the reverse beartrap goes crazy, if the reverse beartrap is active.
Example: The survivor will die in 15 seconds, but the timer sound is by 1,3 minutes.
-the first and the second Jigsaw box has never the right key

Finally I had good ideas for this 2 addons.
And btw my numbers are just guidelines.
And i should explain the range by the 1 modification.
You could use "Crate of Gears" and "Bag Of Gears" = 4 modifications.
And you could use 4 times the same modification:
    8 = 1 time
    16 =2 times
    24 =3 times
    32 =4 times

    PS:
I hope you like this reworked addons , too.
And i hope i get more informations from other players, too.
    It help me alot.

    Utility Blades
    Stacks: Yes
    Rarity: Uncommon
Description: A modification to the Reverse Bear Trap: sharp blades attached to the Trap's interior lacerate the victim with every movement.
Effect: Survivors caught in a Reverse Bear Trap will scream randomly, if they walk or run.

I think you're onto something with this.  What if, for all the add-ons that grant penalties to Survivors wearing RBTs (Face Mask, Utility Blades, Slow-Release Toxin, Rusty Attachments), they also increase the chances for Survivors with RBTs to scream depending on their rarity?

Face Mask + Utility Blades can slightly raise the chances while walking/running since they are Uncommon, and Rusty Attachments + Slow-Release Toxin can moderately raise the chances since they are Rare (The wording would br such that you can't stack them to further raise the chances of screaming).

Basically, it would look something like this:

    Utility Blades

A modification to the Reverse Bear Trap: sharp blades attached to the Trap's interior lacerate the victim with every movement.
    • Survivors caught in a Reverse Bear Trap suffer from the Hemorrhage Status Effect.
    • Survivors caught in a Reverse Bear Trap have a slight chance of screaming while walking or running.

    Slow-Release Toxin

A modification to the Reverse Bear Trap: a poison that is not fatal, but weakens the body and makes it nearly impossible to recover fully from any effort.
    • Survivors caught in a Reverse Bear Trap suffer from the Exhaustion Status Effect.
    • Survivors caught in a Reverse Bear Trap have a moderate chance of screaming while walking or running.

    I rly like your idea.
And i think, i will update this addons.
But the Hemorrhage Status Effect is useless.
    The addon need something else.
Maybe it make the breath louder, like Stridor.
Or maybe it the survivors need more time for healing.
What do you think would be better?
Or do you have an other idea?

I agree that Hemorrhage is pretty useless, but I just thought of this as sort of a band-aid fix for those four add-ons in question (Utility Blades, Face Mask, Rusty Attachments, and Slow-Release Toxin). I don't know if I would want to make an add-on that's basically just Stridor, and the "more time for healing" thing is just Rusty Attachments. Admittedly, I'm not sure what I would replace Hemorrhaging with on Utility Blades (or how I would buff Hemorrhaging to make Utility Blades less worthless). I'd say "scrap the add-on in favor of a completely different add-on", but I already had in mind scrapping Razor Wire and Workshop Grease with replacements (and I'm already thinking of how to re-work/replace Interlocking Razor), so I wouldn't know what to replace Utility Blades with if it had to be completely scrapped.

I think I have an idea:

A bar fills when the survivor runs.
The bar sinks,if the survivor does not run.
If the bar is full, then it injures the Survivor, if they are not already injured.
Survivors caught in a Reverse Bear Trap have a slight chance of screaming while walking or running.

Is this a good or bad idea?
    Because i don't have a clue.

This seems like it would be crazy powerful.  Assuming it's tweaked for balance and mechanical consistency, it reads like a Very Rare or Ultra Rare more than an Uncommon.

You can balance this addon, because numbers. (Bar fillup speed)
    My other idea would be:
That it have only the scream effect.
But face mask doesnt have the scream effect.
But the rare addon get this scream effect.
Would this be a good balance?

    Btw, i tested the addon.
And it just dont work with Sloppy Butcher.
