Randomized Hatch location on the final survivor is badly implemented and needs to go.
It needs to come back like this but obviously make it unavailable to be unlocked with keys. And further more when survivors are unlocking the hatch let the killers get Killer instinct or something gives the Killer a chance against keys..

You already win with 3k, MMR literally sees no difference between 3k and 4k. Why do you feel the need to go out of your way to make the life even more miserable for the last remaining survivors?

I mean it's a hatch win, the game is already over. Sometimes it'll spawn in front of them, sometimes it'll spawn in front of you.
This is nowhere near the worst case of randomness in DBD. Not everything has to be controlled.

Technically you don't get the additional mmr for the 4th kill... So it is a difference, isn't it?
Why should the 4th survivor get out of the game by random chance anyway? They failed to do their objective.

No its the difference between Merciless Killer and Ruthless Killer. I've got 11/12 hooks and last guy escapes and its a Ruthless killer

you are aware the difference between Ruthless and Merciless is quite literally meaningless, right?
You have already won the match if you get a 3k, get over it

Unless you're doing adept.

"There has also been times when I'm last survivor and also with seconds the hatch is closed. In the old version it gave Killers and Survivors CLUES to where it would spawn when there are 2 survivors."
What clues are you talking about?

Tbf Adept is a challenge for people who hate themselves so it might actually be better to leave it that way

The killers have the rights to chose to kill all 4 survivors instead of 3 and should not be judged for that. And by doing so it actually awards with more bloodpoints, there are no extra bloodpoints for the killer when the survivor escapes through the hatch, so the "getting 3k is exactly the same as getting 4k as the killer" is just a blatant lie.
If anything blame BHVR for encouraging the slug to not let anyone escape through the hatch. If hatch is not removed, then i agree that should be a mechanic where the survivor gives up and dies at the ground if that makes the hatch appear.
And keep in mind that im one of those killers that let the 4th survivor go on the hatch a lot of times, but that's on me and i'm not a "better" killer by doing that.

Hatch escape is treated as a draw, so escaping via gate would be better for the survivor. Unless that is also considered a draw.

Yes, it's a draw for the survivor, but the killer's MMR sees no difference, 3k is still a win for him. For killer, draw is 2k.

I think only after hatch is closed gate is also a draw, before that if all gens got done then it counts as a win.

Isn't there a difference between a 0 and 1 K as well? So why exactly should you not get bonus mmr for the 4th kill as well? You just don't lose any for not getting it, but you lose the points you would have gotten by getting the kill.
If all 1v1s against each survivor themselves count as a win loss or draw it would not make much sense if it would not at least give more mmr for a 4k over a 3k.

That is so stupid. But I guess they do it so that Blendettes don't win by doing nothing.

The most fair thing would be to come up with a less rng mechanic or just make it a loss for the whole team.
Would be ridiculous to gain mmr by bringing a key and being a Blendette all game long... Or wake up and sole survivor and stuff like that... You could literally teach a completely new player to win like that and therefore reach the top mmr... And unless the gates are 20 m apart they will get out more often then not.

I cleared all my killer/survivor adepts a few months ago in a span of like 4 days, couple of hours long sessions, most weren't all that hard. Why would adept challenges be considered a thing only people hating themselves would do?

I prefer the hatch location being randomized. I hate when hatch offerings get played because it also lets the Killer know where it is. With the location randomized, at least there's a chance of finding it first.

My mistake, I still think of Adept more of how it was viewed a few years ago when Adept Dredge took me hours in of itself.
That said, I did make the brilliant decision to do all my survivor adepts through solo q, so the challenge may have been easier had I used different resources, but I still hold that anyone trying to do the same nowadays is probably a masochist, although back in the day the challenge was much harder.

I think ramdomsided hatch is healthy for the game there needs to be some hope for the last survivor. Now only problem is 2vs1 when killer slug for 4K and game last forvever. I would add in this situation basekit deerstalker and bleedout button which you could use after lying in floor for 100 seconds. Deerstalker would reward killer who could quickly down both sirvivors in that case it's not really slugging.
