especially with how common server issues are… like why was i disconnected from the host and why do i now have a 15 min penalty? its not even rlly affecting its target audience bc they all just suicide on hook so it feels kinda pointless

BHVR never go back on their decision, as it would create a bad image for the investors. So every new addition, however broken and horrible it might be, is here to stay, just like the Escape Based Matchmaking. But yes, it's ridiculous how most people who suffer from DC penalty are not actual quitters, since those can just let go on hook, but people with honest issues and those who have to endure a game with a cheater.
