Why are you now prolonging game time?

In the past, you made changes to "Call of Brine," "Overcharge," and "Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance" to shorten the tedious game time. You also introduced or adjusted many perks to speed up generator repairs and added mechanisms to prevent defending three generators, encouraging killers to engage in chases.

However, recently you have made red scratches very sparse, making it difficult for killers to determine the survivors' escape direction during chases. Even when survivors are running right in front of the killers, the Red Scratches appear intermittently and irregularly.

As a killer, if I lose track of a survivor because of the intermittent red scratches, I can't continue the chase. In such cases, I have no choice but to go back to defending generators until I spot another target to chase. This gameplay feels tedious and contradicts your previous statement about reducing the situation where killers have to defend generators.

So please answer, why are you now hindering killers from chasing and instead encouraging them to defend generators? Is the current difficulty in tracking red scratches a bug, or was it an intentional adjustment? If it was intentional, I hope you can revert this change, allowing killers to chase normally rather than forcing them to defend generators, as this only adds unnecessary time to the game.

Lastly, I want to emphasize that a game where chasing is not feasible is very boring. This will only exacerbate the issue of killers defending generators. If you are genuinely interested in solving this problem, please adjust the red scratches back to their normal state.

The red scratches HAVE been very irregular for a while now.

Feels like years... No clue why they decided to do that or if it was a mistake. It became even more frustrating on certain maps where just seeing scratchmarks has been tough... Well just one more reason to use filters to actually see stuff...

Last night I had scratchies extend well down another hall in lerys from where the survivor went. I was following blood pools so I know he didn't step that way. Checked for lightweight after and he didn't have it.

IMO scratches are the least of the game's current problems atm, but I don't consider it too much of a problem. As a person playing both sides, I sometimes run Lightweight as survivor, and barely anyone runs it but it can give a considerable advantage as long as you are confident in your looping skills. As a killer I don't see it as a problem because I'm more auditory than visual when chases go in weird directions. I prefer playing more killers so I don't know which killer suffers more or less, but scratch marks are not as inconsistent, even though they are WAAAAAAYYYY less visible than they were before the map reworks started and that's a fact.

With fixated then? Because otherwise you cannot really gain advantage if the scratch marks missing...
