Skull Merchant's Drones do not remove stacks of Save The Best For Last

I was just in a game as The Skull Merchant and when I Locked On to the Obsession, her being injured didn't remove 2 tokens from Save The Best For Last.
I doubt this is intended, as the Drones count as a special attack, right?
In any case, I felt kinda bad, hopefully this gets looked at!
