Loaded into a match and my perks and item were gone

I play on Xbox. All previous matches were fine, but in my last match when I loaded into the game I didn't have any of my perks or the item I had equipped. But on the endgame scoreboard it still showed my perks and original item. This is the first time this has occurred for me and my matches afterwards have all been fine and working properly. I was not able to get a clip.

What queue was this in, please?

I actually had a streamer friend I was watching run into this a few days ago, and it was in normal queue (not Shuffle)… their perks+items were seemingly unequipped during the match; none of the perks functioned either. But the tally screen showed they had a full loadout.
