Slippery Meat Buff Idea
I've had this perk a few times in Chaos Shuffle. It's not a perk that I think I've ever used before. Anyway, I gave it a try and was surprised to learn that although it gives you three extra unhooking attempts, these additional attempts will still advance the hook timer.
Instead, I think the first three unhook attempts should not advance the sacrifice timer at all (although it should still tick down at the normal rate). The remaining 3 unhook attempts will advance the sacrifice timer at the usual speed. That way, you have the opportunity to at least try 3 times to get yourself off the hook without completely throwing the game by going to second stage faster.
What does everyone think? Is this a bad idea for a buff? Or would a SWF bringing luck offerings and the Ace perk make it too unfair?
I think it could use a change, anyway. Feels kinda useless as it is.
